Now that PS5 made its mark, another section of fans is eagerly waiting for the Xbox Series X event. The next event is set for July but no details on the dates are specified. Last night, an Xbox executive finally dropped a small hint on the upcoming event.
Xbox Series X – Possible date of next live event
As many as 15 game trailers could drop for the next-gen console’s event. Microsoft may have some other tricks up their sleeve as well. The rumors on the event started about when Xbox Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg replied to a fan’s tweet. The fan asked Greenberg if he could give out any detail regarding the July event.
Greenberg’s response could mean that the event might not take place in early July. Perhaps, he asked to be patient because Microsoft could still be finalizing things for the launch. Developers could be adding some final touches or there could be some revamps in process.
Judging from his tweet, Microsoft may announce the date sometime around next week whereas the actual event could be in the last week of July.
Halo infinite – biggest selling point?
343 Industries decided to drop a teaser ahead of the launch event for its new title Halo Infinite. The first-person shooter has been the mainstay in the Xbox line up of consoles. The highly anticipated game is touted to be the biggest thing coming to Xbox Series X.
The decoded voice seemingly says,” [garbled] approaches. [garbled] forces occupy the ring. Within hours it will be under our control. Humanity will burn, their brazen defiance will be all but a memory. No more prophets, no more lies. We stand together, brothers to the end, We are his will, We are his legacy. We are the Banished”
The game looks to bring back the Banished from Halo Wars 2 with Atriox as the main antagonist. The game will be released for PC as well.
